The Coterie Club of Andalusia invites you and your family to the third annual “Movie Under the Stars” on Sat., April 30.  The Kiwanis Fair-grounds gates will open at 6:30 p.m. with the movie beginning at sunset. This year’s feature is “Gulliver’s Travels.”

Admission is $4 per person. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets. No coolers or outside food allowed.

Looking for something to pretty up the front yard?

Look no farther than the City of Andalusia’s Relay for Life team’s annual two-day plant sale.

Beginning today from 8 a.m. until 5:30 p.m., the Court Square will be filled with perennials, annuals, tropicals, trees and shrubs.

Prices range from $2 upward, said city horticulturist Vanessa Nelson.

“We’ve got things like climbing roses, four types of hydrangea, cannas lilies and all sorts of a great selection,” she said.

The sale will continue Friday.

Come have lunch at the City of Andalusia’s Relay for Life team’s “Fund-raiser on the Square” Friday.
For $5, one can purchase a hamburger or two hot dog meal with chips and a drink. Homemade ice cream will be available for $2 a cup.
To-go boxes are available.
Lunch will be served from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
All proceeds will benefit the Covington County Relay for Life.
If inclement weather, the event will be held at the Farmer’s Market.

Don’t miss your chance to “lock up” your fellow co-workers today in the APD “Arrest-A-Friend” Relay for Life event.

Warrants are $2 each, are only available until noon at the Square.

Those arrested will be transported to the “jail” on the Court Square between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
