An audition will be held for the Missoula Children's Theatre production of GULLIVER’S TRAVELS at 3:15 on Monday, August 19, in the Dixon Centre at LBW.
Approximately 50-60 roles are available for local students. Students will rehearse through the week, and a student production of "Gulliver's" will be hold on Friday morning, with a public performance at 2 p.m. on Sat., Aug. 24.

Back by popular demand, ReAct Theatre and Arts presents "Tales from the Tomb," a walking tour of historic Magnolia Cemetery in which characters from the past come to life.
This event will be held from 4 until 6 p.m. and 7 until 9 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5, and from 4 until 6 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 6.

The Andalusia Office Professionals Association will hold its annual Monster Mash Dash with a 5K glow run and walk at 6:30 p.m. beginning at City Hall. Registration is $20 for 14 and under and $30 online at funsignup.com.
Registration increases to $35 on race day and will be held on site from 4:30 until 6 p.m.

Andalusia Health will hold a breast cancer awareness event at 11:30 a.m. at the Andalusia Adult Activity Center. Radiation oncologist Dr. Hejal Patel, Patty Ashworth, and Jacqueline Dorsey will be the guest speakers. The public is invited and encouraged to wear pink for support.
Southside Baptist will hold a trunk or treat from 5 until 7:30 p.m. There will be more than 50 trunks and candy, giveaway prizes, a petting zoo, sensory tent, popcorn, cotton candy and more. Family-friendly costumes are welcome.
St. Mary’s Episcopal Church will hold a trunk or treat from 4 to 6 p.m. Fun games and candy will be provided and costumes are encouraged.
Andalusia Health will host a fall festival and trunk-or-treat on Tuesday, Oct. 29, from 6 until 8 p.m. There will be games, food trucks, face painting and inflatable slides.
The City of Andalusia will be closed in observance of Veterans Day on Monday, Nov. 11, 2024.
Monday's garbage will be picked up on Tuesday, Nov. 12, with Tuesday's route.
The Andalusia High School Junior Class is hosting a Turkey Trot Run/Walk fundraiser on Saturday, November 16th, and they want YOU to be part of the fun!
Whether you’re running or walking, come out to support the AHS junior class. Scan the QR to register! The race will start at City Hall and runners will run through beautiful Andalusia. Registration will begin at 8 a.m.

You are invited to attend the annual Jo’s Community Thanksgiving Dinner with all the trimmings hosted by St. Mary’s Episcopal Church located at 1307 East Three Notch Street on November 28, 2024, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. First Baptist Andalusia will be doing its "An Evening in Bethlehem Live Nativity" on Sunday, December 1, beginning at 5:30 pm. As in the past, the nativity begins on the west side of Tisdale Street. This is a free event.
