The Andalusia Area Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Veterans Day Parade on Thursday, Nov. 11, beginning at 9 a.m. For more information, call the Chamber at 334-222-2030 or email .

A Veterans Day service will follow at the Covington Veterans Memorial, located behind City Hall. Retired educator and Vietnam veteran Sam Nichols will be the guest speaker. 

The Andalusia Area Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Christmas Parade on Thursday, Dec. 2, 2021, at 7 p.m. Applications are due by November 26. Forms can be downloaded here. 

Come run Candyland! The race will start and end in the cutest Christmas cottage village you've ever seen. Half marathon will take you on a tour of some of Andalusia's small town highlights. Come and see if you can achieve the special Gingerbread person award for the fastest person in each race!! Registration available here. 

Covington Arts Council presents the "Celtic Angels Ireland" in concert, Thursday, February 24, 2022, at 7:00 p.m., in the Solon and Martha Dixon Theater for the Performing Arts on the Andalusia campus of LBWCC.
Adult tickets are $20; student tickets are $12. Tickets may be purchased in advance at Harold's.
Their show intertwines more than 30 Irish traditional and contemporary tunes. The show also includes the Celtic Knights Dancers and Trinity Ensemble. You don't want to miss it!

Y'all it's that time again. St. Mary's Mardi Gras 5K for Rice and Beans is back and we are so excited!! Mark your calendar for Saturday, February 26th. Follow the attached link to register and invite all your friends. It will be a day of great fun and good food.

LBW Community College is hosting the inaugural "Saints on Stage" on March 11 & 12 at 7 pm at the Dixon Center for Performing Arts.  This variety show will feature acts from LBW students and faculty, as well as community members.  We'll have vocal performances, music, dance, comedy and more.  Hosted by Lynsey Williams and Katie King. Tickets are $10 for general admission and $5 for students.  All proceeds go to LBW student activities.

The LAAC will host an opening reception for its "Young Artists" show from 5:30 until 7:00 p.m. at its arts center, located at 209 E. Three Notch St., in Andalusia.

ReAct Theatre & Arts presents this original play about a case that occurred in Alabama in 1955. Tickets will be available in mid-March. TO learn more, click here. 

The LAAC will host an opening reception for its "Nature Made" show from 5:30 until 7:00 p.m. at its arts center, located at 209 E. Three Notch St., in Andalusia.

The Andalusia Public Library's Summer Reading Program will end with a special two-hour session, "Painting Sea Animals."

The City of Andalusia will present its annual Fourth of July Fireworks Show at dusk on Monday, July 4. 

Gates to the midway of the Kiwanis Community Center Fairgrounds will open at 5:30 p.m. with a bouncy house water slide for children and free watermelons while they last. Live music begins at 6 p.m., and the fireworks show will be at dusk. 

The City of Andalusia will be closed on Monday, July 4, 2022, for Independence Day. 

Both Monday's and Tuesday's garbage routes will be picked up on Tuesday, July 5.

The Old Three Notch Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will host its annual Fourth of July Parade at 10 a.m. Line-up is at First Baptist Church, and no pre-registration is necessary. 

 The parade will travel from FBC to Pirate Graphics. 

The Andalusia Area Chamber of Commerce's popular summer concert series begins on the lawn of Springdale! Troubled Waters will open the show at 6 p.m., followed by The Mitchell Hudson Band. Admission is free.

The Andalusia Rotary Club will host the 46th World Championship Domino Tournament at the Kiwanis Community Center. More than $20,000 in prize money will be awarded during the two-day event, which includes singles, doubles, round robin, kids and teen events.
